Her center warm-up focuses on strengthening technique and expanding flexibility through combining disciplines of jazz, ballet, modern and Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). Across the floor is comprised of turns and jumps with intent to familiarize the student to her style. Combined with her acting knowledge, sense of humor, and a truly caring nature, Joyce encourages the dancers to bring their uniqueness and passion to the combinations while challenging and developing their technique, ultimately bringing their performance to a higher level .

Jolt Dance Convention/Workshops

After teaching in various Workshops, Intensives, Summer programs and Master classes along with requests and encouragement from her students, Joyce has recently created Jolt Dance Convention/workshop (JDC). The Dance Convention/Workshop is geared toward strengthening a dancer’s overall performance, through establishing a character within the choreography, expanding each individuals technical ability /style, while creating an environment where they are inspired to embrace their own uniqueness and vibrancy in performance....

Joyce is part of the Jazz Faculty at Steps on Broadway in NYC. She often travels to teach Master Classes/Intensives/Teacher Workshops and Conventions, as well as Professional and non –professional Teen/Young Children’s Programs. Although specializing in Jazz and Lyrical of all levels and ages, Joyce also teaches Musical Theatre, Audition Workshops as well as called in on a Performance Consultant basis for solos and group works.
