Joyce, part of Steps on Broadway’s Jazz Faculty, NYC, has taught Internationally at Dance Works, Costa Rica, Dansstage Dance Festival, Belgium, the Paris Centre, France, Master Classes, Summer Intensives, throughout the US, School at Steps Children’s Program, as well as on faculty at Peridance, NYC.

As a Teacher /Choreographer/Performer,

she has had the opportunity to work with

some of the most talented Directors, groups

and soloists from Italy, Costa Rica, Belgium,

throughout the New England area, Texas,

Maryland, Utah and Florida to name a few.

She has performed in the musicals Cats,

A Chorus Line, Fame..; in major

industrials for Ellesse, NFL, Chrysler, and

Michael Jackson Sportswear; in special

events/benefits such as Broadway Cares,

Liberty Bicentennial, “The Lady” with

Ben Vereen, and in the Night of Stars in

Boston. Joyce has also been seen in an original

play The Pad, as lead Franny DiMagio, in Brilliant Traces as lead Rosannah, and Inside and Out.

 

A former company member of Impulse Dance Co., Boston, Joyce had the pleasure of working with choreographers Fred Benjamin, Lynn Simonson, Richard Levi, Bruce Taylor, Danny Sloan, Artistic Director Adrienne Hawkins as well as chosen for a Trio performance with Mark Davis and Carlo Rizzo for a premiere piece by Miguel Lopez. She has been greatly influenced by all, including former Artistic Director, Suzanne Taylor of NHSB, where she received her initial training, Boston Ballet, Hartford Ballet, prior to moving to NYC and Michael Owens of LA.

She was awarded acceptance to the Oxford School of Drama, England, Shakespeare Summer Intensive, which included Master classes with Jane Lapotaire, Rebecca Saire and Fiona Laird. In NYC, Scene Study with renown teacher Charles Kakatsakis, Doug Hall as well as Film/TV with Sally Johnson of Sally Johnson Studios. Most recently she had the pleasure of working with Jim Wharton of Wharton Performance in NYC, receiving her Certification for Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)

 

Joyce’s choreography has been performed over a variety of venues and explained as passionate, thought provoking, emotionally moving, sassy.... Performed at Steps on Broadway,(Check out pics ”MindField ), Staller Center for the Arts, Ballet Arts, Pinkerton Academy Theatre Arts, Palace Theatre, Dansstage Dance Festival, Competitions, The Auditorio Nacional and Teatro Eugene O'Neil Theaters in Costa Rica.
